Culinary Center
The creation of a state-of-the-art Culinary Center within the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Mississippi at the Capitol Street Club site in Jackson will feature 12 fully equipped learning kitchens provided by GE Appliances.
The Dole® Sunshine for All® Cities Kids Cooking Camp classes hosted there will encourage the kids to adopt better eating habits that they can share with their families by preparing healthier meals at home. Ultimately through public/private partnerships we hope to establish similar Culinary Centers in each of the 50 Sunshine Cities across the country.
